The Secretary of Transportation, PennDOT staff, elected officials and community leaders have been working on the Parkway concept over the past year to develop an affordable transportation solution that meets the future mobility needs of the area while being sensitive to community and environmental resources. PennDOT continues to coordinate with the Community Task Force on a daily basis to help achieve this goal.
