During the design phase of the Route 202  700 Parkway, noise analyses was conducted across the project area.  Findings from the noise studies, which were coordinated with the public, were presented and discussed at a number of meetings held in communities along the Parkway’s path.  As a result, specific design features were added, including the use of earth berms to help reduce sound levels in the areas adjacent to the roadway.  More information from the noise studies and communities meetings can be found in .pdf links below.
